South Africa the Accursed Country – 1 - Poaching

We are back and will bring you riveting articles about South Africa. Poaching is a dangerous game, and the famous Kruger National Park (KNP) is not exempt from this atrocious diversion. There is much speculation that poaching in and around the KNP is not legal.
SYNOPSIS RE THE KNP, MJEJANE PROJECT AND THREAT TO THE STATE.
Various sources and agents have reported that a highly suspicious situation has developed in respect of the Mjejane development and the Bridge, which was built for access to the KNP (Kruger National Park).

At the centre of all these accusations the names of the following persons appear:
M T Silinda, Administrator of the Mjejane Trust and partner to Joubert.
He will be in Court in Nelspruit on 5 May 2016  in a case by the Mjejane community brought against Silinda. The allegations are that he has been paying himself R 300 000 per month from the  Mjejane Trust as a monthly salary, even more than President Zuma.
Joubert, a property developer, and partner to Silinda
It has been alleged that he had received R 6,9 million from The Mjejane Trust via Selinda and that his brother also received some R 2 million.
Mahommed links to Silinda, possible Al Qaeda contact.
J R Makhubela, local fixer.

D Mabunda, former Head of Sanparks and allegedly assisted Joubert and Selinda in an irregular and highly illegal action to obtain the access to the KNP, which set off the housing development at Mjejane Bridge. According to information, arrests will be made in April commencing with M bundle. These arrests pertain to a different matter but could impact into the matter currently under investigation.

It would that due to a spat re money, the irregularities of what had been going on in this nick of the woods has now been laid bare. However, the issue between the parties is none of our concern. Only in respect of the Impact of State security does it become our concern.

 Mjejane
In this regard, there is a high-cost housing development whereby the Mjejane Trust is supposed to benefit from. This is the one issue which must be investigated from the State’s viewpoint. The role of Joubert, Selinda, and Mabundla.

The increase in poaching in the KNP. The access point at the Mjejane Bridge into the KNP is a serious concern. The question is as to whether access controls are being abided by. This would appear not to be the case as it seems that many of the poachings are affected via this entrance point.

 POACHING
The poaching in the KNP is severely underestimated by the State. It has been alleged that much of the poaching has been done on request of Al Qaeda and or ISIS. It has been reported that ISIS is running into a cash crisis. In this regard, they have been looking at alternative sources of income for some time already.
Since 2007 AQ has been in the RSA, whence the RSA facilities have been used for R&R. Actual poaching has been undertaken by ex Zimbabwe Special Forces ( X-Forces). These ex X-force operatives are very well paid.

The question, however, is as to what the threat is for the State? The only answer we could ascertain in this regard is that the threat level is very high. Especially given that these people have unfettered access to the KNP from whence they then can melt away into the rest of the population and start moving towards Gauteng. For what reason?

However, it is clear that the persons so mentioned, Joubert Silinda, Mahommed, and Mabundla will have a serious case to answer.  Makhubela might be able to enlighten the investigators i.r.o. these issues and point into further directions. He is a previous senior director at the Mpumalanga Conservation Department from the time of Allen Grey, now deceased.
