Attacking Kids in South Africa

Hatred expressed toward the minority group is nothing new in South Africa.  Now it appears that even innocent children are becoming victims.

White baby, 17 months, scratched deliberately with unknown object by a black person in an Amanzimtoti, South Africa mall"

posted on 26 March 2016 -- Mrs Rizane Gevers warns: "Look at what a black person has done to my girlfriend's son in the Amanzimtoti mall: he was scratched with an unknown object. An innocent little boy of nearly 18 months now has to get antiretroviral treatment against HIV-transfer because those people hate us so much. This is probably the latest thing which will be hitting us now: .. original link:

Economic Hardship for Zimbabwe and South Africa

Majority of Zimbabweans and South Africans are experiencing severe economic hardship
I ask you readers to continue looking at POVERTY in SOUTH AFRICA and events unraveling in Zimbabwe. I think our human side drives us that we become interested in problems of humanity anywhere.
Zimbabweans have never seen political freedom or economic freedom since the communist dictatorship of President Mugabe took power in 1980. The British (who facilitated Mugabe’s rule) have long abandoned the oppressed people of Zimbabwe. The country has been held hostage by few who regard themselves as gods. They commit any kind of crime and never face the law or justice. They kill opponents or anyone who dares expose their corruption or abuse of public office. Thousands of Zimbabweans have been murdered for speaking up against their leaders.
THE RECENTLY DISCOVERED DIAMONDS IN MUTARE CITY have been looted to CHINA, INDIA and other DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. Former vice President Joyce Mujuru claims that in India they have built a city with DIAMONDS looted from Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans in Mutare diamond area are starving, surviving on handouts and eating rats, roots etc… while Diamonds are going to Developed countries.
The ZANU PF government which Mugabe is at helm does not win elections but use all kinds of dirty tricks to rig and manipulate the vote. IN AN IMMORAL SOCIETY CONTROLLED BY FEW POLITICAL THUGS THE BALLOT CAN BE MADE TO SAY ANYTHING. LOSERS OF ELECTIONS BECOME WINNERS!
Right now is March 27, 2016 about 3 million Zimbabweans are facing massive starvation. Children are dying. Malnutrition and mental illness is so widespread in Zimbabwe’s young people. Is there hope?
Here at SHOCKINGNEWS21 we aim to be a voice to the unfortunate. Not just a voice but also a means to provide hope. To connect the needy with those who can sacrifice to assist them. So we encourage people from Zimbabwe, South Africa and so forth to post their opinions, requests for help or for prayers. Etc.. on our website and our other social media Platforms.
We also encourage readers to do something for the victims of poverty, malnutrition and victim of injustice by writing letters to your Churches, leaders, NGOs encouraging them to do much for the suffering or those dying in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
…….AND ALSO TO GIVE DIRECT HELP TO THE NEEDY WHO POST THEIR REQUESTS HERE.
FOREIGN AID BY WESTERN GOVERNMENTS TARGETING GOVERNMENTS IN AFRICA IS NOT BEARING FRUITS. This aid is being looted in countries such as Zimbabwe, DRC, and Uganda and will end up enriching few in government and their connections. If you want to be rich in Africa get into POLITICS.
SHOCKINGNEWS21 also aim to promote awareness through circulating news about Zimbabwe. POVERTY, OPPRESSION will end with addressing unjust systems which inflict hardship and devastate the poor.

Innocent People being Murdered

Update: Murder: Die Voortrekker movement in East London's Mr Willem Petzer has issued a statement saying that one of their members, Charl Meyer, 41, has died in st George's Hospital on 27 March 2016 from injuries sustained in an attack by two men at St George's Parks Department Office, Port Elizabeth.

(We are awaiting more details from the police - as to whether they will now change the docket from 'assault to cause grievous bodily harm' to a charge of 'murder'. It's not known if anything other than Meyer's watch was robbed during the assault. One man has reportedly been arrested. )

First report by Gareth Wilson on March 21, 2016
THE municipal security directorate’s investigation unit has arrested a man believed to have attacked a metro official in St George’s Park.
Municipal parks assistant director and principal horticulturist Charl Meyer, 41, who is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit at St George’s Hospital, was attacked by two men while leaving his office in the park three weeks ago.
Michael Maartens, 20, appeared in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court yesterday and was released on warning while the investigation continues.
Maartens was arrested on Thursday following a tip-off from a person who witnessed the attack.
Security directorate officials responded and found Maartens on a park bench near to where the attack happened.
Directorate officials said they had been searching for Maartens since last week after the witness gave them a description.
Police spokeswoman Colonel Priscilla Naidu confirmed Maartens’s arrest, but declined to provide more details as the investigation was still under way.
The municipality’s security investigation team was roped in to assist with the case after police detectives closed the investigation within a week of the attack.
Detectives reopened the case on Wednesday, changing the charges from common assault to assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
After Meyer was attacked, allegedly by Maartens, a fight ensued and Meyer was badly beaten and allegedly robbed of his watch.
Naidu said that while the motive for the attack was still unknown, robbery had not been ruled out.
Meyer was admitted to hospital for treatment and discharged shortly afterwards, but was readmitted two days later.
A copy of the original statement taken by police officers a day after the attack – which Weekend Post has seen – paints a picture of Meyer being confused, but says he saw the two attackers in the park prior to the incident.
Maartens will appear again in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court on May 24.

Animal Cruelty a game for some

An old story is once again circulating on FaceBook. A story about the cat on the cross. Of course, this is a cruel act and the people involved are savages, in my opinion. It is disgusting, it is pure evil, if a human being can do this to an animal, then I believe they are not human.

The Truth About The Cat On The Cross Picture Implicating Nigerian Muslims
Posted On 18 Sep 2012
The picture of a cat crucified on the cross has been circulating lately on facebook and many websites since the anti-Islam movie protests. But contrary to the caption that says “Muslim youths in Nigeria crucify a cat to mock Jesus as a protest against anti-Islam movie,” this picture was actually taken in Ghana in October 2011, with the following story:
Society For Animal Protection Decries Crucifixion Of A Cat
Accra, Oct. 5, 2011 GNA – The Ghana Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (GSPCA), has condemned the killing of a cat by crucifixion posted on face book, which attracted hurtful comments in recent times.
The photograph was posted online by someone who calls himself Kwabina Daniels, a.k.a. Popkon Sika-one. He possibly could be one of the youths shown in the photo but even that has been called into question by the Ghana Society for the Protection and Care of Animals’ (GSPCA) plea for the public’s assistance in identifying those pictured.
It said the mantra that became a popular political jargon in recent times that “there are several ways to killing a cat” ought to be condemned because animals do have rights and must be free from threats and molestation.
“There is only one way to kill a cat and indeed to all animals and this is humane slaughter”, this was contained in a statement jointly signed by Mr. David Nyoagbe, the Society’s Chairman and Mr Amasaba Adul-Yakeen Aluizah, a Humane Educationist and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday.
It said the society was not against the use of animals for food, sports, security, farm work and others but was advocating that when slaughtering was done it should not bring about pain to the animal.
The statement referred to the Islamic Religion which actually prescribed to members to do humane slaughtering of animals, the reason for which a sharp knife was required to slash the throat once.
It noted that one Kwabina Daniels alias Popkon Sika-one has posted on his social network face book page a picture of a crucified cat, which attracted scathing remarks from Ghanaians and the international community.
“To facebookers and friends of the supposed perpetrator of this cruel act, it was fun and perhaps the most award winning picture. It took friends of animals all over the world who begun criticizing this dastardly act for the picture on face book page to be taken-off,” it added.
It said these guys have committed crime against an animal and most of all a lovely pet, noting that they had also shown insensitivity to Christianity and Christendom by crucifying an animal on a cross, a most cherished symbol of Christian.
“If this is not blasphemy then what is,” it asked.
The statement called on friends of animal, Ghanaians to condemn the practice and appealed to the general public to identify the perpetrator and his cohorts (as in the picture) for dragging Ghana’s reputation to scorn in the face of international animal lovers and organizations.
It advocated good and regular feeding, medical care, freedom to exercise in a normal environment, free from threat and other molestation, since they are sentient, responds to stimuli and could feel pains when inflicted on them.

Starving Zimbabweans Kill Elephant for food

Everybody knows how bad the situation is and how many people die of starvation in Zimbabwe. Now that the liberation party has been in power for 35 years, the country is destroyed. Corruption, self-enrichment and dictatorship have destroyed a nation, and more than half the population live in poverty, and the food is scarce.
Daily Mail 2010
In 2010, the Daily Mail published an article about the Zimbabwean people slaughtering an elephant for food. The images tell the shocking story, and that was six years ago. What has changed, nothing? The situation is worse now, and as long as the world ignores the plight of these poor people, Zimbabwe will be no more.

The people flee the land, and many millions have crossed over to South Africa, contributing to the current problems the country faces. South Africa is on a downward spiral and with the overflow of immigrants, we will probably be placed in a similar situation as Zimbabwe.

March 12, 2010 ARTICLE PUBLISHED ON THE DAILYMAIL.CO.UK (LINK BELOW)
We apologise for these images but they speak more eloquently than any politician of the plight of Zimbabwe's starving people  (please read the article and yes the images do tell the story)

For us it is a saddening sight - a magnificent bull elephant struck down in his old age.
But for the starving of Zimbabwe, it was little short of a miracle.
The carcass provided a vital source of food, and hundreds of desperate villagers in the Gonarezhou National Park descended on the dead animal within minutes of its discovery.
Using machetes, axes and knives made from tin cans they set upon the six-ton carcass, which was found deep in scrubland.

Fights broke out as villagers battled to strip chunks of flesh from the animal and drag them away to feed their families.
It took just one hour and 47 minutes for the 13ft-tall elephant to be reduced to a skeleton. Every part was used for food, even the trunk and ears.
The bones of the 70-year-old animal were taken to boil for soup and within 24 hours nothing was left but a blood-stained patch of earth.
The images are undeniably shocking. But they illustrate the terrible lengths to which Zimbabweans are forced to go just to survive under Robert Mugabe.
Yesterday, the Red Cross warned the situation in the former British colony is 'critical' with 2.17million - one in four of the population - requiring urgent food aid.
