Two white lions were found poisoned
and heads and claws removed on a farm near Stockpoort
Limpopo. HPG, WO Van Heerden and members of Lephalale GPF followed the suspects
tracks up to the Lephalale Groblersbrug road. Suspects were picked up by a
vehicle. The investigation will follow.
The killing of animals used for witchcraft is often brutal. The perpetrators will use sharp
rocks, knives, glass and machetes to hack off heads and body parts. In this instance, it must have been for a ritual as there is the belief that body
parts of animals and humans have a potent,
powerful effect. When an animal is hacked
to death, the louder the agonizing screams before the animal surrender to death
makes the potion more powerful.
Witchcraft in Africa is a mighty force among the different
tribes. A firm belief is that witchcraft can render them invincible. Eating or
using human and animal body parts is an integral part of witchcraft and
sacrifice. The brutality of farm attacks or white people in South Africa could be associated with the evilness of witchcraft. These
practices, murders and hacking of human or animal parts do form part of a goal for the process of ranking higher in
witchcraft.
A report issued in 2013 confirmed that the Limpopo province
of South Africa recorded 250 muti-related
murders in one year. A hospital in Swaziland was
accused of harvesting body parties for witchcraft practices during 2013.
There is a black market operating around South Africa, selling human or animal
body parts for the use in witchcraft brews. There was an
unconfirmed report that one of the security guards killed during the
Marikana massacre had his jaw cut out and given to a witchdoctor.
Virtually all Europeans are ignorant of the dimension of witchcraft, and most have the belief that it
does not exist. Witchcraft is a demonic practice, a practice that is widely
used in South Africa, giving cause for great
concern. South African President Jacob Zuma openly admits
to engaging in this practice, combined with ancestor worship. Does this mean
that the president and government, who do condone the evil practices keep South
Africa in a primitive state? The president is
giving the majority what they consider appropriate, evilness.
A thank you to the South African police for capturing and
detaining the perpetrators of this evil barbarism. Perhaps more evil culprits
will be apprehended as the investigation develops.
