Take five minutes today to sit in silence.
No phone. No noise. No fixing. Just being.
At first,
you’ll hear sounds — the room, the world, your breath.
Then you’ll hear your thoughts.
And if you stay a little longer, you may hear something deeper: stillness.
Notice what
you feel.
Tension you didn’t realize you were holding.
Emotions you haven’t had space for.
Or a calm you forgot was possible.
Silence doesn’t create these things — it reveals them.
And notice
what you learn:
That your thoughts come and go.
That you are not your thoughts — you are the one noticing them.
That peace isn’t something you find outside — it’s something you uncover
within.
So take five minutes. Sit in silence. And listen — not just to the world, but to yourself.
