The Zuma Must Fall campaign is underway, and thousands have
signed a petition call for the president to resign. The recent sacking of the
finance minister caused the country to tail dive into a fury of despair. Many
white people have supported the fall of Zuma and will join the organizers in a
march later this week. There will be many black people who will participate. However, millions of blacks do not
consider joining the #fall campaign because of racial hatred.
Blacks do not want to attend the Zuma must fall event because
white people will be attending. The event is an opportunity to show support for
the country, the economy and good governance, and the millions of blacks who
would rather stand back and let the country plunge into disaster.
The African National Congress elaborate on the Freedom Charter,
who says South Africa, belongs to who
live in it and the “Zuma must fall” campaign is not a matter of black or white
but a call to change the situation of the country.
Blacks are asking who will benefit if Zuma is no longer the
president. In all their stupidity, they cannot see the harm Zuma has caused,
and say that only whites will benefit and as there are more than 43 million
blacks in the country, the false lies spread by a few, helps to keep the man in
power. With rumors being spread, blacks are once again placed into a blind
situation, of allowing a few people who have deep unresolved hate issues to
manipulate the masses.
Although there are many
sensible, intelligent black people who see the damage caused by having a
president who places his family and
friends first, agree the man must go. It is this handful of individuals who have enough common sense to realize,
it is not only whites that might benefit, (although I am not sure how) but the
majority might have an opportunity to turn the damage caused in the past, into
a more sustainable future.
The march is all about an economic
concern, it is not about who will benefit, and while the majority live in
poverty, this could have a significant
impact on their future. Racism is spewed into every action and it is always a
few manipulating the masses into believing that only whites have security, only
whites will benefit. To live with such a fear destroys the chance of achieving
peace.
Many believe that the campaign
calling for the removal of Zuma is an orchestration
of a total collapse of the economy, that in my opinion does not make sense, the
call is to promote a president who will holds the interests of the country at heart. Zuma does not deserve to lead the country and
has failed big time. Supporting the campaign is all about unity.
Whatever happens in South Africa, racism rears its ugly
head. The divide among cultural groups grows deeper each year and with a
president who shows no consideration towards the majority the #fall campaign should
be an event attended by the majority. The majority need to open their eyes and
see the state of affairs in South Africa.
Judging all races leads to the wrong direction and holding
onto the concept that nothing has changed in the last 21 years is wrong. Who will see the light? The majority believe
#Zuma must fall equals #blacks must fall.
I don’t think so. There is growing agreement among all that Zuma is an embarrassment as much to the ANC as to anyone else. Why do you think the SABC has ordered radio DJs not to mention #ZumaMustFall? https://www.change.org/p/thuli-madonsela-zuma-needs-to-step-down-government-in-sa-needs-to-change-before-its-too-late/u/14583466 Let’s see who shows up for the march on 16 December. Maybe he will unite the country as no one has done since Madiba put on a springbok jersey :)
