THE A, B, C - Part 1 (A - M)

Hello Everybody,

Hope all is well with everyone.
I am appalled and devastated by what happened around the world this week. The terrible, horrendous and unfair killing of innocent people.
Of course, I try to find understanding and strength and only seem to find this from the word of God.
This is the short story I wrote a few years ago. The ABC for living a victorious, abundant life. Whenever I feel traumatized, I read this and it is a gentle reminder of how I have the power to change the way I want to live.

All scripture quoted is from the King James Version.

***********************************************************************************

Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
1 Sam 22:23 (KJV)

Abiding in the Lord is the best possible way to live a victorious life!

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psalms 32:1-2 (KJV)

You are blessed when your sins are forgiven.
Now that is victorious!

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Heb 10:35-36 (KJV)

A great promise. Be confident, the reward is yours!

Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
Prov 5:15 (KJV)

Important, don’t take this verse for granted!

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
Prov 4:14-17 (KJV)

Under no circumstances, should you follow evil men, it will entice you into sin. Say NO!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Tim 6:12 (KJV)
Faith is the key!

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
Psalms 50:5-6 (KJV)
Encourage people to live for the Lord.

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Prov 3:9-10 (KJV)
Having more than enough always!

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. 12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. 13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? 14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people
Psalms 77:11-14 (KJV)

Remembering the works of the lord will always strengthen you!

Jesus said - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Matt 5:44 (KJV)
Love, love, love, yes love is the key!

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Cor 3:16-17 (KJV)

Look after yourself; you are the temple of God!

Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:16-17 (KJV)
Peace and joy what a wonderful promise!

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
Psalms 98:4-5 (KJV)

Praising the Lord is so great, just do it!

SOMETHING NEW

Hello Everybody,

Hope you are all well and having fun. Smiling and enjoying the beautiful life we have on this amazing planet.

This is such a lovely picture, and for me it represents such a peaceful scene, one of complete happiness and perfection.

I thought I will do something different on my blog this week, instead of sharing Chapter 5 of Sipho and the Golden Nails with you I am going to share another story.
Firstly of course an update on the publication of this new novel. Still waiting for the proof copy and hopefully will receive it this week. A friend of mine is currently designing a new cover which I hope to receive toward the end of this week. The cover we presently have seems to be acceptable but this friend who is a graphic designer wants to do something more spectacular. I am sure I will be able to share with you next week.
Now this picture is also amazing, I really like it.

The story I am sharing with you is one of my very first short stories that I wrote a few years ago.
Sammy hated his family, especially his father, a bullish man. He contemplated suicide but a turn of events helped heal his troubled mind and united the family.

SAMMY
Under the large oak tree, Samuel sat with his pet Labrador, contemplating his suicide. He looked up at the old farmhouse and visualized his family members. He recalled his father a large bullish man and his mother a timid woman. His two irritating sisters Joanne and Jessie both plump and lazy annoyed him immensely. How he hated living with this unruly divided family. Every day being told what to do, where to go, and beaten by his father for no particular reason at all, had enough.
"I hate you all," he screeched, knowing they could not hear him.
Twitching a piece of grass in his hands, with his knees folded, he continued with his demonic thoughts. Sammy continued talking to his dog Jock whilst stroking his head. "Maybe I should gas myself. We have the large gas cooker in the kitchen, but I will have to make sure they are not at home when I do that. Perhaps I should hang myself, yes under this large oak tree. He laughed talking to himself, I can just imagine, my family running down the steps from the house and find me hanging from a rope with my neck drooped. Yes they will be so sorry for this, and I will be gone forever." He tossed the grass away and continued looking at the house.
He did not notice Jessie plodding down the stairs walking in his direction, "Sammy, Sammy," she shouted. "Dad wants you to clean the chicken pen, and you had better hurry up, lazy bones."
She stood in front of him waiting for him to get up. He looked at her with a non-complacent look, "oh no not again, can't the old man get any helpers to do these menial tasks?" he asked.
"I am going to tell him, and you will get another beating," she said turning around to leave. He stood up and grabbed her arm, "No don’t do that, I was only joking," he said. She jerked her arm freeing herself from him and ran back towards the house. He walked slowly towards the chicken pens and picked up the broom; sweeping and cleaning at such slow pace, lost in his own little world, did not notice his father behind him.
The old man Jackson, slapped him on the back of the head shouting in a stern voice, "get a move on lad, there is still lots to be done."
Sammy turned around lifting the broom with the intention of hitting his father and looking at his stern face decided not to do that.
"Sorry dad, I will clean up quickly," he replied in a quivering voice.
It was hot, there had been no rain for almost two months, and Samuel lay on his bed in his boxer shorts, cursing the heat, his faithful dog lying on the floor. He bent over the bed and looked at the dog.
"You are the only one who loves me, what am I going to do?"
The door opened and his mother came in with her hands on her hips shouted.
"Get up you lazy good for nothing or I will call your father."
With that tone of voice, he knew he had better do as told or feel the wrath of another beating.
"I am sorry Mama, I will not be late again." He jumped and again apologized.
Sammy hurriedly pulled on his denims and putting on a vest sweater ran down the stairs, and into the kitchen. His father was sitting at the large wooden table reading the paper. He looked up and in a tone not heard before told him.
"Sammy I want you to go into town and buy the weekly provisions."
Sammy surprised at his request could not believe the old man had finally decided to trust him to leave the farm.
, "Dad of course I will, when do you want me to leave?" Excited he replied.
"Now, here is the money and list, make sure you return with everything on the list or don’t bother coming back," Jackson told him in his cantankerous voice.
"Of course, I will do this and make you proud of me," he said still feeling joyful at the prospect of being able to leave the farmhouse for a short time.
"Proud of you," the old man looked at him with frown on his face and laughed.
Sammy disappointed with his father for not acknowledging him as a good son, walked towards the front door ready to leave. His sisters Jessie and Joanne were sitting on the porch painting their nails, laughing. As he walked past them, they jeered at him and said, "So you think you are a big shot now because he is letting you go into town." He looked back at them and wanted to swear at them, decided not to and carried on walking towards the old truck. How I hate them, he thought.
He got into the truck, put his hand inside his denim pants, and pulled out a piece of paper. Sitting down ready to start up the truck he looked at the note and said to himself.
"My suicide note, well perhaps I should put this plan on hold for awhile, the old man actually gave me something good to do." He put the note back into his pocket. Whistling to himself, he started the truck and drove down the old sand road.
At the end of the sand road, he turned left into the tar road and merrily continued driving into town. Arriving in town he parked the truck and took out the list his dad gave him and started buying all the provisions needed. After about one hour, Sammy checked he bought everything was feeling rather proud with himself for completing the task, he got back into the truck and started his journey back home. He was happy he had managed to complete the shopping.
Whistling to himself and driving at a steady pace he continued, and then without any indication he did not see the large truck coming down the road at a speed that looked frightening, he swerved off the road trying to avoid the truck and his vehicle overturned.
Sammy woke up looking at the ceiling, the bright lights and then he felt the tube down his nose.
"Where am I?" he thought. He tried to lift himself up but felt too much pain, he cried.
A nurse came in and tried to calm him down.
"Sammy, it is good that you are awake," she said wiping his brow.
He tried to talk but found it rather difficult. She explained that he had been in an accident and nearly died. He continued to cry. She left him and within minutes, his family came into the room.
He turned his head and saw him mother crying softly, he noticed his dad had more grey hair and his face filled with sadness. His sisters were red eyed from all the crying and wiping their tears held his hand.
"Son, we are so sorry, I never knew that you had such lonely depressed thoughts towards us. I am truly sorry I never gave you all the love and guidance you wanted." His mother continued to cry.
He tried to look at his father and with his words stammering he managed to say.
"Dad I love you and mom." He closed his eyes, feeling the pain rip through his body, heard his sisters shout, "Nurse call the doctor something is wrong."
"Sammy, can you please forgive us, come back don’t die, and we love you and need you." His mother held his hand, and softly said.
Sammy lay there listening to his family and unable to speak he felt for the first time in his short life loved and dozed off.
The doctor came in and told the family members to leave; they waited outside while the doctor and the nurse tried to revive him. After a long enduring hour, they stabilized him. He opened his eyes and saw the doctor leave. Lying there, he tried to remember the accident, he felt afraid as in his mind he saw the truck but could not remember anything else.
His dad came in alone and pulled out a chair sat down; he took his hand and stroking it gently said.
"Sammy, we found your suicide note, it was such a shock to find out that you were contemplating killing yourself. Then the accident, we nearly lost you."
Sammy opened his eyes slightly and turned to face his father, he opened his mouth but no words came out. He held onto his father's hand tightly.
"Sammy, don’t give up, we want you to live, I promise you, and I will be a better father and always look after you." He said in a sad voice looking at his son and a tear falling down his face. He cried as he sat there with his son.
For the next month, every day two to three times his family would come to the hospital to visit him, he was feeling much better and the doctor had told him he could go home in a week's time. He loved his sisters they would read to him and make him laugh although it still hurt, his ribs not fully healed and the laughing hurt. His mother and father were so gentle and understanding, spoiling him giving him such a lot of love. He was happy.
The nurse helped him dress, and with his broken leg walked with him wobbling along the corridor on his crutches he managed to walk down the corridor and in a distance saw his dad. He briskly walked towards him and held him firmly, helping him. Guided him to the car they drove home, He told his dad how sorry he was and was told to be quiet apologies were not necessary all that mattered was that he was well and back with them.
When they arrived at the farmhouse, he saw his mother and sisters waiting on the porch. Jock his Labrador dog, barking with excitement on his arrival, ran towards him. After helping him from the car, his dad guided him, helping him climb the stairs one at a time. His mother crying for joy hugged him, followed by his sisters they went inside to the kitchen. He looked at the table all decorated with his mother's best table cloth, and her precious cutlery and crockery, sat down. Joanne his sister went to the old coal stove collected the pots and placed them on the table. His mother cooked a most amazing meal, leg of lamb, roast potatoes with all the wonderful trimmings. She served him first and as soon as they were all seated, his father poured him a glass of wine. His father raised his glass and said.
"A toast," they raised their glasses.
"Sammy, welcome home, we are grateful for another chance to be together as a family, and this is a toast to say a family united we will always remain." The glasses clinked and they all laughed a hearty laugh. Sammy feeling the love and unity amongst his family, he was home and happy.
THE END

Well I do hope you enjoyed this one. Have a wonderful week and I will be back soon. God Bless You all.

SIPHO AND THE GOLDEN NAILS - CHAPTER 4

Hello Everybody,

Well it is weekend again and hoping everybody is having lots of fun and enjoying the new day.

Continuing with the adventures of Sipho, the twins Emma and Irma.
Today I will share Chapter 4 with you.

Sharing some interesting pictures as well.

Before we share chapter 4, here is the the cover design we are considering using,

but it is not final, we might decide on using something else. Will keep you posted.

Chapter 4

TOURING ANGLUR

Sipho, Emma, and Irma together with Idranda and the twins, Olomos and Ogmu were sitting outside on the terrace, wondering what they would be doing today, when Zanmorn appeared and greeted them. After telling them they would be touring Anglur, the children jumped up and wanted to know when they could leave. He told them they could go immediately and started walking down the stairs and looking back to see if they were following him. Sipho grabbed his arm and told him to wait for Lindiwe. Zanmorn turned around and told Sipho she would not be joining the group today. Disappointed, Sipho held onto his arm and with the others walked toward the gate. Once outside, they walked a few minutes toward a transport collection point for the train. They waited for a radar train to collect them and within minutes the train arrived and soon they were seated and ready to explore the city. Zanmorn enjoyed the trip, it helped occupy his mind and describing certain buildings, and events throughout the journey, gave him the much-needed assurance of being part of this great family.
The train stopped at the grand university of science. Zanmorn told the children they would take a tour of the facilities. Excitedly, they exited the train and followed Zanmorn. Soon the children were introduced to the head of the science department and a guided tour began. Sipho was elated; the facilities and technology within the one laboratory alone were overwhelming. Asking many questions, and enjoying the entire visit, he discovered a small jar with a fetus in it and stared at the unborn baby whom he felt sure had moved its arm. He quickly turned around to ask what was happening. The head of the department, Tylor, a tall thin man with deep-sunken blue-eyes, moved over to where Sipho was standing and pushed the jar to the back of the shelf, out of Sipho’s sight.
"This, my dear young man is no concern of yours!" he answered in an abrupt tone.
"I am sorry, it looked fascinating, and I was only making a simple enquiry." Sipho responded.
"Forget what you have seen and continue looking around the laboratory and remember, do not touch anything," Tylor told Sipho sternly.
Sipho walked away confused. He had a feeling that there was some mysterious reason why they kept the fetus and decided he would find out more about it.
Professor Tylor tugged Zanmorn’s sleeve and told him to report to Zanu that Sipho had seen the fetus. Zanmorn agreed and they walked up to the children watching their enthusiasm while they explored the rest of the laboratory.
After an extensive tour, the professor told them they would probably be able to come back another time. They thanked him and left. A train was waiting and upon boarding Zanmorn noticed that Sipho was deep in thought. He knew the child was curious about the fetus, but not wanting to debate the issue, he left it at that.

While travelling back to the Governor's home, Zanmorn did his best to distract Sipho's thoughts and diligently explained various buildings and places along the route. He watched an agitated Sipho and hoped they would soon be home.
Arriving at the manor after the walk from the station, Sipho ran toward the entrance of the house. Inside, he went to Zanu's study hoping to find him but was disappointed to find an empty room. He ran into the library calling Zanu but no reply was forthcoming. Lindiwe came down the stairs and hearing the concern in his voice enquired why he needed to see Zanu.
"It is no concern of yours," he answered in a sarcastic tone.
"Sipho, don't use that tone with me," she told him in a raised voice, while walking up to confront him.
"Sorry, I did not mean to be rude. It's just I need to see Zanu urgently. I want to spend more time at the science university," he told her in a more relaxed tone.
"Well Zanu is not here, he is meeting with the council members, and you can chat to him later," she said.
"Okay, I will, thanks," he said disappointedly and walked toward the stairway.
Lindiwe watched him and wondered what the real reason was for his eagerness to attend the science facility. She shrugged her shoulders and walked toward the open front door. Standing on the terrace wondering where the other children were, she sat down and waited. She heard their voices and assumed they were playing.
It was a perfect day. The sun was warm, the sky was a radiant blue, and there was a slight breeze. She sat there reminiscing about Zanmorn and his proposal. Her heart pounded at the thought of being so close to him, yet she felt a certain element of fear. She wanted to explore the relationship - wanted to feel the love of a man. Her emotions were so strong; her feelings for love overwhelmed her logic. Deep within her thoughts, she did not notice Zanmorn take a seat next to her.
"Lindiwe," he said in a soft voice as he looked into her brown eyes.
"Zanmorn," she said and jumped at the sight of him.
"Sorry, I watched you and you seemed to have drifted into another dimension."
"No, no. I was enjoying the peace and the wonderful weather," she lied.
"Lindiwe, we need to talk," he said in a more serious voice.
Lindiwe stood up looking down at him, afraid of what he was going to say. Not sure if she wanted to hear him, she told him they could meet later and without another word, she left and went inside.
Zanmorn stood up and felt a sudden urge to run after her and grab her and declare his love for her again. He showed restraint and knew he would have to let her go. He went down the stairs toward the pool and watched the children enjoy their games.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed this chapter. Wishing you all the best for the new week ahead and may you all be blessed.

Your friend, Laura.

SIPHO AND THE GOLDEN NAILS - CHAPTER 3

Hello Everybody,

Hoping you all had a wonderful and blessed week. It's weekend and time to relax a little.

Today I will share Chapter three with you, it is about Zanmorn, you will recall he is a prominent character of our story, the ever faithful messenger to Zanu, the Governor of Anglur. Zanmorn being a spirited being has a confession to make and it concerns our wonderful Lindiwe, the feisty Zulu woman, who defied the village rules, ran away and got entangled in an adventure greater than expected.

Chapter 3
ZANMORN CONFESSES

Zanmorn, since his return to Anglur, had spent most of his time with his sister Bethsaida. He wanted to stay away from Lindiwe and he knew the more he saw her, the more his feelings of love toward her would become evident. He went to the Temple and wrestled with the angels over these emotions. He was always expected to remain a single man and not have a relationship. Finally he was given an ultimatum by the angels - marry Lindiwe and instant death will follow, or leave Anglur forever and then you may be with her. Thoughts of never returning to his home planet scared him - yet his love for Lindiwe overwhelmed his rational mind.
Now, after several days of avoiding Zanu, who had constantly called him to come over to the residence, he knew he would have to face this feeling of uncertainty.
It was a warm day, the brilliance of the sun shining on the sidewalks and the soft wind blowing made Zanmorn’s trip to Zanu’s home pleasant. His mind constantly dwelling on Lindiwe and her sumptuous beauty, he could not focus on the importance of his decision. He wanted to spend his remaining life with her and he wanted to stay on Anglur. How could he forsake one for the other!
He arrived at Zanu's home and found the children playing in the pool having fun. He walked up closer and watched how innocent and fearless they appeared.
"Hello everybody," he raised his voice in order to be heard over their constant chattering and laughter.
"Zanmorn, we missed you," Emma said and ran up to him giving him a huge hug and wetting him in the process.
Sipho, Irma, and Olomos came over and greeted him. They were happy to see him and after a few minutes, he said goodbye to them and left to enter the house.
He went inside and wondered where Lindiwe was - he needed to see her and confirm his love to her. While standing in the entrance, hesitating on which direction to go, he did not notice Zanu standing near his study.
"Zanmorn, I was wondering when you would return. This is after all your home too," he said and walked closer to him.
"Zanu, please forgive me, I needed to see my sister and adjust to my return from earth," he replied and extended his hand to his leader.
"Come inside, sit down, and let us have a chat," Zanu said, motioning him to enter the study.
Zanmorn sat down and watched as Zanu walked around the large mahogany desk and took a seat. Staring at him with a slight frown on his face Zanu asked,
"Zanmorn, is there anything you want to tell me?"
"No not really. I enjoyed spending time with Bethsaida," he said while looking out of the window.
Zanu offered him some refreshments and he gladly accepted a fruit juice. Sipping the juice and trying not to look directly at his master, he spoke about his sister’s children and the weather. Zanu had been informed of his dilemma by the angels and wanted Zanmorn to tell the truth, without forcing him to do so. He noticed how Zanmorn tried hard to avoid the real issue.
"Zanmorn, I believe you want to tell me something," Zanu said after deciding to tackle the subject head on.
"I should have known you would know about my confusion, I am sure the angels told you." he blurted out.
"Yes, but you should talk to me," Zanu said and raised his eyebrows slightly.
"Well, I am not sure what to do, I want to marry Lindiwe, and if I do, I will have to leave Anglur for good. I am not even sure if she will marry me. I am confused," he said feeling relieved at being able to tell his master his thoughts.
"Zanmorn, the instructions from the angels are clear. There will be no change in their decision. You must however, go to Lindiwe and tell her about your feelings. If she accepts you, then you will be able to make a decision."
"I am not sure if I can tell her," he said.
"You must, you are jeopardizing your career and of course our assignment has to continue," sternly he told Zanmorn
"I am sorry, this is all very new to me, and all my life I accepted my calling and served you and Anglur as best as I could, I never planned for this to happen to me. It is all the years on earth and spending so much time with the earthlings, I am sure."
"I will arrange for Lindiwe to go to the mall with you and then you must use the opportunity to talk to her. Once you know, we can discuss this further," he said and stood up.
Walking toward the door, he told Zanmorn to meet Lindiwe after dinner and take her for a walk. He said goodbye to his servant and left him alone to ponder over the situation. Zanmorn remained seated and was now more confused than ever and wanted to run away. Cradling his head in his hands, he did not notice Lindiwe walk into the room.
"Hello Zanmorn, I am sure glad to see you again," she said and tapped him on his shoulder.
"Lindiwe how are you?" a startled Zanmorn asked and stood up.
"I am fine and enjoying the stay on your beautiful planet. We have done so much and I believe we still have much more to see and do," she said
"Later on after dinner, let me take you on a tour of the capital state. I think you will enjoy the night walk - it can become quite unusual," he said.
"Wonderful, I will meet you after dinner," she replied and left the room.
Feeling more relaxed and thankful for the guidance from Zanu, he left and went upstairs.
Dinner was pleasant, the children commenting on their eventful day and Randia, as usual a great host. Lindiwe stood up and left, followed by Zanmorn. The children wanted to tag along and Zanu told them to remain seated. Sipho confused asked why. Randia told the children Lindiwe and Zanmorn wanted to go for a quiet walk and that they should go watch television.
Lindiwe and Zanmorn left the house and walked down the long driveway toward the gate in silence. It was a beautiful night, the moon bright and shining on the golden paving, emitting light under their feet. No wind and the night air still warm, he took her hand in his and continued walking in silence. Unable to contain his emotions any longer, he stopped walking. They were standing in the garden. Zanmorn picked up her hand and laid it against his face, giving him the full, blasting glory of her smiling brown eyes.
"Lindiwe, I shall always love you as tenderly as ever," he said and without giving her a moment to reply kissed her softly on her lips. Lindiwe could not ever recall the exhilarating feeling of such a touch and kiss, from any experience she had known before. She quickly entwined her arms around his neck and kissed him warmly.
He did not expect this reaction and he hugged her and softly kissed her neck. He stepped back still holding her hands and looked into her loving face.
"Lindiwe will you marry me?" he asked in a soft voice.
"Zanmorn, dear Zanmorn, I know I love you, I think I have loved you for a very long time - but marriage, I am not sure?" She said and hid her face in his broad chest.
"At least, please promise me you will think about my proposal," he said while stroking her back.
They never left the estate - just walked around the gardens; holding hands and joyfully enjoying each other’s company. It was late when they returned. Knowing everybody was asleep, they quietly went up the stairway. Outside her quarters, he kissed her with a passionate kiss that made her squeal with delight. She gently put her hand on his chest and pushed him away, as she slowly opened the door and went inside. Closing the door and leaning against it, she knew she had done the right thing. She wanted more, but as difficult as it was, she had controlled her feelings. She went to bed smiling.
The next morning, Zanmorn went down to the study and found Zanu sitting behind his desk, writing in his journal. He walked up to the front of the desk and without asking for permission to speak, he told his master about the events with Lindiwe. Zanu looked up at this remarkable man and shook his head.
"Zanmorn, my dear Zanmorn, I was hoping Lindiwe would reject your love and let us continue our mission without any human emotions."
"Zanu, I am going to wait for her answer and if she agrees, I will live on earth with the woman I love!" he said in a determined voice.
"Well, then we wait! In the meantime, I have to inform you that your position as my head messenger is suspended." He stood up, without any warning and walked around the desk, and taking Zanmorn’s arm escorted him to the door.
"Zanu, no please don't do this! I must stay here! Where will I go and how will I get back to earth, if you make me leave," he pleaded.
"This discussion is closed - remember Benjamin? If you change your mind, we can continue as before but not until then," he said and shoved him out the door, slamming it closed.
Zanmorn, stood at the door, convinced his life was over. Never before had he seen Zanu so upset. He thought about the discussion and knew he had to make a decision now. He opened the door and looking directly at Zanu, said
"I am sorry, you are right, please forgive me. I want to continue with our relationship as before," he pleaded.
"A change of heart on your part? Well I suppose we could continue working together, but you must understand that certain issues will change," he said in his authorative voice.
"Of course, I understand. I will not have any more contact with Lindiwe, and if it is possible, can I stay at my sister's place until she leaves?"
"No, if you want to continue as before, then you must show restraint. You cannot run away from your feelings. Either face them and move on or leave," clutching his grey beard Zanu sternly replied.
"Very well, I will remain and continue to be the trustworthy servant I have always been," he said looking down at the floor.
"Good, and remember what happened to our brother Benjamin when he was disobedient. Go find the children and take them on a short tour of the capital state."
Zanmorn thanked him, said goodbye and went in search of the children.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter, please leave a comment.

Have a delightful weekend.
